Eta Mu Chapter of Sigma Chi at Eastern Illinois - Longing for One More Day at the Old Red Barn

FaceBook  Twitter

With the days getting warmer and warmer and another class graduated, we start to feel pretty nostalgic about the good old days. This time of year, you may be wishing you could be back at the Old Red Barn, maybe enjoying the sunshine on the roof like the brothers in this picture, or as Richard Fish ’85 recalls, playing a game of wiffle ball. As Scott Jackson ’86 put it: “What a mess, but what a great place all at the same time.”

Check out these photos from ’87 and ’88. It’s amazing to think that 30 years have gone by since those days. And the more time that passes, the more we wish we could go back just for a day!

If you have any photos of the old Sigma Chi house—or any old photos at all—we want to share them! This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it., and be sure to include captions or stories if you have them!
