Our Bell Chapter Challenge is Almost Complete!Dear Brothers,

With your help we can fully fund another year of the Bell for Eta Mu. That would make it a fantastic fourth consecutive year! Not many Chapters nationwide will be able to claim this honor.

To those who have already stepped up and made their pledge or donation - Thank You!

For those still on the fence, please refer to the benefits the Chapter receives during next year's Workshop and school year:

Benefits Provided to Bell Chapters:

  • Balfour Leadership Training Workshop
Bell Chapters can send up to 5 additional attendees to Workshop for free.

Gold Level Bell Chapters will receive an additional $1,000 travel stipend for Workshop.
  • Horizons Leadership Training Program
Bell Chapters will receive up to 2 designated slots for qualified undergraduates.
  • Academic Scholarships
Bell Chapters will receive up to 3 designated $1,000 academic scholarships for qualified undergraduates.
  • Education and Leadership Stipend
Gold Level Bell Chapters will receive a $3,000 educational stipend to cover the costs of educational programming for the chapter.

There are several ways to help:

1) You can click here and designate your gift for Eta Mu.

2) You can contact Matt Pagan at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..

3) The Foundation can credit the Chapter's Bell account this year if they receive your pledges that are scheduled to be made by the end of the Foundation's fiscal year (June 30, 2017).

For example: If a brother wants to donate $1,000 towards the cause, but pay later, we can set that up as a pledge, and as long as he plans to make the donation by 6/30/17, we can count it for this year. This pledge must be received by 12/31/16, however. Here is a pledge form if you are interested.

We are very close, so all contributions count and anything over our goal of $10,000 for the year will roll over to next year's goal, which could give us a huge head start at qualifying for 2017. Also, make sure to check the Foundation's webpage for tax information. I will provide an update after the first of the year.

Let's not let this opportunity slip away. We are 1,200 alumni strong now. With this kind of support base we can do wonders for the Chapter we all helped create and succeed all these years. My best to you all!

In Hoc,
Jim Corn '74
