Eta Mu Chapter of Sigma Chi at Eastern Illinois - What Makes a Chapter Award Worthy?

FaceBook  Twitter

We recently shared that our undergraduate chapter was presented the Peterson Blue Award last academic year, one of the highest honors a chapter can earn. We are still very proud of our actives and what they have accomplished. This may have been our chapter's first Peterson award in 23 years, but our history with the award is a strong one.

Previously, Eta Mu won Peterson Awards in 1972-73, 1973-74, 1975-76, 1976-77, 1977-78, 1978-79, 1979-80, 1982-83, 1983-84, 1984-85, 1990-91, 1991-92 and 1992-93. It's clear that we have several generations of outstanding men who have pledged Sigma Chi and embodied our values of Friendship, Justice and Learning. The real question is...what makes a chapter award worthy?

Did your class win a Peterson Award? What qualities did your class possess that made the chapter shine and receive such an honor?
