We recently ask you to share your update, and Ed Pietrowicz, a 1983 initiate, was kind enough to share this proud moment in his life:

"I left EIU in the Spring of 1989 with one semester to complete for graduation," he says. "Most of my friends were gone and working, and it started to seem like I needed to get on with my life. I re-enrolled in online classes for the 2016 Spring semester and continued in the fall and following spring. After 28 years, I finally graduated. I attended the Spring 2017 ceremony."

Brother J. Thomas (TK) Long ’72 is Eta Mu’s newest Significant Sig, having received this prestigious award at the 2017 Grand Chapter in Providence, Rhode Island.

Long is counsel for Phoenix, Sandurg and Von Gontard law firm of St. Louis and manages its office in Alton, Illinois. He also is the attorney for the Village of Godfrey in Illinois. Long is also an entrepreneur. He is the founder and former CEO of the Argosy Gaming Co., which operates gaming facilities in six states and was acquired by Penn National Gaming Inc., in 2005.

In the pursuit of these high ideals, the Sigma Chi Fraternity is able to offer tremendous value in augmenting the collegiate experience and supporting the lifelong journey of each of its members. We hope to assist brothers in becoming men of character, caring husbands, compassionate fathers and community leaders.
